The season for tax preparation is officially upon us. There have been many changes to the tax laws recently and we have asked Liberty Tax Service to come in and host a FREE seminar to review all of this information with our residents. Come in and register and you will be entered into a drawing to win a 2 day 3-night vacation trip. At this seminar, we will be reviewing the changes with ITIN’s and ACA’s (Obamacare) tax information mean to you. So mark your calendar, and join us for some light refreshments while Liberty Tax Service shares some important information with each of us. We hope to see you there!
Every once in a while an opportunity presents itself for our Resident Appreciation Events that is too good to pass up. Our event this month is exactly that. Save the date for November 19, 2014 starting at 6:30 pm. We have invited renowned chef John Bove to join us here at Steeplechase and host a great Wine & Dine evening. Professional Chef John Bove will be providing demonstrations and cooking for this event – so dinner is on us. This amazing night has limited seating so please call us at 410-666-0199 to reserve your space today.
Chef Bove will be cooking his famous salmon & asparagus with his special wine glaze sauce. The dinner will be served with wine &/or sparkling cider and will be paired just right with the entree. Our chef will also be providing each of our dinner guests with a recipe & specific instructions on how to cook and prepare the dish on your own at home. You must be at least 21 years old to attend; so this evening is for adults only.

The Community Yard Sale held at Steeplechase Apartment Homes in Cockeysville, MD on August 23, 2014 was lots of fun! This event included over 6 tables worth of items for sale from our current residents. All of the items were in great condition and was very appealing to the buyers. Speaking of buyers, we had over 80 people show up to peruse the goods! There were a wide variety of items for sale including unworn clothing, jewelry, purses, storage bins (which were a HUGE hit) and all different types of household items. Our staff was on hand and provided donuts for the residents who were selling goods. [Read more…]
Here at Steeplechase Apartment Homes in Cockeysville, Md we host resident appreciation events each and every month. We have held events from Wine & Cheese Night to Community Yard Sales, Bingo Contests, and much more! Several times each year we try to organize these events and efforts in a way that can help others outside of our community as well. September 2014 is one of those months. This month we are collecting items to be donated to the Maryland School for the Blind. The Maryland School for the Blind is a private resource center, providing outreach, school, and residential programs to children and youth from infancy to 21 years of age who are blind or visually impaired. Saturday July 26, 2014 was a sunny, warm, and breezy day here at Steeplechase Apartments in Cockeysville, MD! The weather was perfect for our scheduled Pool Party! Thanks to the amazing weather we had around 45 people join us for the fun festivities. Xfinity cable joined us for the event and provided hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and soda – so the nice weather and fun pool party was complemented by a nice selection of foods for all of our residents to enjoy. Thank you to all of our residents for joining us in the fun and relaxing day by the pool! Stay tuned for our next FREE resident appreciation event here at Steeplechase, the Community Yard Sale! Summer is officially here and we are all very excited! Now that the pool is open 6 days of the week we wanted to answer some of the wonderful questions we have received on Facebook & Twitter, here on our blog!
What is the policy for guest passes at the swimming pool? Guest passes can be purchased for $10 per person at the Leasing Office during normal business hours. Guest pool passes can be purchased for up to 5 guests, and these are daily passes. This guest pass is only good for the day and must be presented to the lifeguard on duty.
What types of flotation devices are allowed in the swimming pool? Flotation devices are not permitted at any time; with the exception of life vests only. Any life vest must be approved by the United States Coast Guard to be used. If a child uses such a life vest, a parent or guardian must accompany the child in the water at all times. [Read more…]
In Spite of the Rain, “Breakfast on the Go” was a Hit!Our residents woke up to a rainy overcast day on June 12, 2014 but we had promised to deliver breakfast to them, for free, right to their car! So the team here at Steeplechase was not about to disappoint everyone we had counting on us. We grabbed our umbrellas and delivered. Although we did have to cut the breakfast deliveries a bit short; we stayed in the rain as long as we could! All of our efforts were rewarded by sharing in the smiles from our residents as they headed out to start their day. We even received a very gracious comment on Facebook, “ Thanks so much. It’s the little things some days :)” WE couldn’t agree more. [Read more…]
Steeplechase Presents FREE Breakfast On-The-Go in June and Pool Party Coming in July
At Steeplechase Apartment Homes, we love to show our appreciation for all of our amazing residents with FREE monthly events that allow us to give back while building a sense of community. While “Spring Is In Bloom” right now for the month of May, we also have two events that we are excited to announce as we look towards Summer 2014.
First up on the menu is our popular FREE Breakfast On-The-Go event that will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 7 am. We will deliver a nicely packed breakfast to you right in the parking lot so that you can head out that morning without having to worry about the most important meal of the day!
We want to say THANK YOU to our amazing residents for participating in our April Showers bring May Flowers “Spring Clean Your Balcony/Patio Contest” by posting such incredible photos to our properties’ Facebook pages. The winners for each apartment home community will be selected by May 23rd and will receive a $50 AMEX gift card as well as a flower basket for his or her balcony/patio (winner must be verified by an associate of the respective property.)
