Throughout the year we try to show you, our residents, just how much we appreciate you by holding our Resident Appreciation Events. However, sometimes that just isn’t enough. So we wanted to say, “Thank You for choosing to call Hirschfeld home!”

Every once in a while an opportunity presents itself for our Resident Appreciation Events that is too good to pass up. Our event this month is exactly that. Save the date for November 19, 2014 starting at 6:30 pm. We have invited renowned chef John Bove to join us here at Steeplechase and host a great Wine & Dine evening. Professional Chef John Bove will be providing demonstrations and cooking for this event – so dinner is on us. This amazing night has limited seating so please call us at 410-666-0199 to reserve your space today.
Chef Bove will be cooking his famous salmon & asparagus with his special wine glaze sauce. The dinner will be served with wine &/or sparkling cider and will be paired just right with the entree. Our chef will also be providing each of our dinner guests with a recipe & specific instructions on how to cook and prepare the dish on your own at home. You must be at least 21 years old to attend; so this evening is for adults only.

Lee National Denim Day Sparks Collections in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness MonthIn honor of breast cancer awareness, our teams at Eagles Walk, Ridge View, Steeplechase, & Tall Oaks are collecting donations. The donation collections started on Lee National Denim Day here at Hirschfeld; where our staff was able to donate $5 in exchange for wearing jeans to work on October 3, 2014. Since breast cancer is something that affects so many of us we couldn’t think of a better way to spend our resident appreciation event this month than to give to such a great cause. If you would like to join us and make your own donation please stop by the leasing office as we will be accepting donations at our apartments homes in White Marsh (Eagles Walk & Ridge View,) Cockeysville (Steeplechase,) and Laurel, MD (Tall Oaks.) Thank you to all of those who have already donated, and thank you in advance to those of you who will be donating! Remember, all donations must be received by close of business on October 31, 2014.
On Friday September 19, 2014 the residents at Ridge View & Eagles Walk Apartment Homes in White Marsh, MD were invited to breakfast! Here at Hirschfeld we like to show our residents they are appreciated each and every month. In September we decided to invite our residents to join us for a FREE hot breakfast here in the clubhouse. The breakfast for this event included fresh scrambled eggs, delicious French toast, pancakes, hot sausage, potatoes, and fruit. The breakfast also included a variety of beverages; including coffee, and orange juice.
We had over 20 residents join in the festivities, with the French toast being the biggest hit! From what we could gather, the morning seemed to include some very happy residents, who were able to take some time for themselves and sit down to a hot breakfast. What could be better than a hot FREE breakfast served to you (no cooking or cleanup required) before heading out for the day? Here at Steeplechase Apartment Homes in Cockeysville, Md we host resident appreciation events each and every month. We have held events from Wine & Cheese Night to Community Yard Sales, Bingo Contests, and much more! Several times each year we try to organize these events and efforts in a way that can help others outside of our community as well. September 2014 is one of those months. This month we are collecting items to be donated to the Maryland School for the Blind. The Maryland School for the Blind is a private resource center, providing outreach, school, and residential programs to children and youth from infancy to 21 years of age who are blind or visually impaired. On Saturday, August 23, 2014, Eagles Walk Apartment Homes hosted its Resident Appreciation Event for August. The event this month was an Ice Cream Social and included lots of delicious ice cream flavors, toppings, and giveaways for the kids. This year for our giveaways we included some school supplies in our special Hirschfeld net bags. These bags included pencils, a pencil box, a compensation notebook, and some erasers. Here at Stony Brook Village apartment homes in New Haven, CT we host resident appreciation events each and every month. These events consist of Pizza Night held on the first Tuesday of every month and free breakfast on the go each and every Wednesday morning. However, these events only allow for us to share in the fun of the festivities from a quick chat over a morning cup of coffee to an hour long visit at the pizza parties. On Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 11am – 2pm our apartment home community in New Haven, CT is going to be hosting a BBQ and Pool Party for our residents at Stony Brook Village. The BBQ will include hamburgers and hot dogs, beverages, snacks, and more – all for free and only for our residents. The pool will be open and we’ll be hosting games & we will even have a DJ to help get the party started. Saturday July 26, 2014 was a sunny, warm, and breezy day here at Steeplechase Apartments in Cockeysville, MD! The weather was perfect for our scheduled Pool Party! Thanks to the amazing weather we had around 45 people join us for the fun festivities. Xfinity cable joined us for the event and provided hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and soda – so the nice weather and fun pool party was complemented by a nice selection of foods for all of our residents to enjoy. Thank you to all of our residents for joining us in the fun and relaxing day by the pool! Stay tuned for our next FREE resident appreciation event here at Steeplechase, the Community Yard Sale! The date for the Community Yard Sale is August 23, 2014 – stay tuned for additional details. In Spite of the Rain, “Breakfast on the Go” was a Hit!Our residents woke up to a rainy overcast day on June 12, 2014 but we had promised to deliver breakfast to them, for free, right to their car! So the team here at Steeplechase was not about to disappoint everyone we had counting on us. We grabbed our umbrellas and delivered. Although we did have to cut the breakfast deliveries a bit short; we stayed in the rain as long as we could! All of our efforts were rewarded by sharing in the smiles from our residents as they headed out to start their day. We even received a very gracious comment on Facebook, “ Thanks so much. The Summer of 2014 has officially kicked off here at Eagles Walk & Ridge View Apartment Homes in White Marsh, MD! The staff at Eagles Walk hosted a pool party for all of our residents on June 14th, 2014. The weather this past Saturday was unbelievable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! Food was served, along with refreshments; and even some games for the kids. Our FREE Resident Appreciation Events have become a great opportunity for us to watch our residents get to know each other, see the kids have fun together, as well as providing an opportunity for all of us to have some FUN.
