Tall Oaks Accepting Coat Donations for the Month of October
We all know how hard the colder weather can be. But, imagine you didn’t have a coat to protect you from winter’s chill. Unfortunately, many families here in Maryland will battle the cold months ahead without being able to afford a winter coat or the accessories needed to keep them from freezing and/or getting ill.
Therefore, we ask of your kindness in assisting us with donating to our October 2016 Coat Drive for the homeless. For the entire month of October, Tall Oaks Apartment Homes in Laurel, Maryland will host a coat drive for homeless families. We will accept lightly worn coats, jackets, hats, mittens, scarfs and gloves. All donations will be taken to Sarah’s House in Anne Arundel County on November 1, 2016. We are collecting the coats now to assure that they will be able to be distributed to families in time for the holidays.
To make a donation, please drop items off at the Tall Oaks Business Office (located 3515 Leslie Way Laurel, MD 20724). You do not have to be a resident to donate.
